I am Steve Miller, a teacher in San Diego County, and along with my wife Flo, greatly enjoy spending time in our cabins at Green Valley Lake. Eagle Cabin is perfect for a small group or a romantic get away, while Eagle Lodge is fantastic for large groups like ours when all our kids and grandkids spend time with us at Green Valley Lake. Our grown up kids, and our grandchildren love Green Valley Lake as much as we do.
Our little terrier, Molly, also has fun with us in the mountains. Helping our grandchildren appreciate the beauty of the mountains while learning to fish, hike, and swim has been delightful.
We decided upon the names Eagle Cabin & Eagle Lodge in honor of the local bald eagles who fish in Green Valley Lake. There are a growing number of eagles in our mountains that are nesting and repopulating the area!
It is exciting to share both the area and our cabins, Eagle Lodge & Eagle Cabin. We spend considerable time in Green Valley Lake and find all seasons captivating. From winter snow to spring blooms and new greenery to summer hiking and lake activities to fall leaves changing color with the seasons.
We have created many family memories and traditions in our cabins at Green Valley Lake.
Spending time together on family hikes, sledding, cooking and eating meals as a group, swimming at the lake and picnics at the cabin have created some extremely special memories.
It is a true joy to interact with our guests and help others create special memories, as well!
The quiet peaceful natural environment of Green Valley Lake is what initially drew us to the area.
A few years ago we took advantage of the opportunity to purchase a cabin here. We had a great time remodeling top to bottom and furnishing Eagle Cabin, it was definitely a family effort.
This was such a fantastic experience, we did it once again with Eagle Lodge, which is a multi-floor lodge great for large groups of family and friends!
